What works today

Everything in the software today.

All of this is in Cirlet now. Try any of it in the sample agency, where the records are fictional, changes stay in your browser and nothing reaches a carrier or a customer.

  • Clients and accounts

Personal and commercial clients, households and businesses, contacts, locations, prospects and the staff assigned to each account.

  • Policies and history

Every policy version, endorsement and renewal, with the original document each one came from. Compare versions, and see which values are known, which are zero and which are simply unknown.

  • Service work

Notes, threaded discussions, tasks, checklists, reminders and a calendar. Change requests keep the customer's original answers next to your staff's review.

  • Renewals and retention

Renewal lists, review outcomes and remarketing records, with rules that prepare a review when a policy needs one.

  • Quotes and binders

Record carrier submissions, quote responses, proposal decisions and binders, each with its source document. Live carrier quoting is listed under connections below.

  • Certificates

Certificate masters and holders, with holder-specific remarks and bulk preparation for internal review.

  • Sales and leads

Lead imports with duplicate checks, pipeline stages, producer assignments and goals, and cross-sell, unbound-quote and lost-policy opportunities.

  • Customer requests and portal

Private request links for customers, document uploads and approved documents your staff choose to share. Staff review every request before it changes a record.

  • Accounting and commissions

Invoices, receipts, deposits, credits, producer and carrier commissions, and bank and period closing. Corrections add reversing entries and keep the originals.

  • Reports

Filter by date, line, producer and status, save report definitions privately or for your team, open the exact records behind a total and export to CSV.

  • Documents

Upload and read PDFs, and review or edit Word documents in the browser while the original stays untouched.

  • Agency website

Prepare your agency's website pages, look and quote-request entry, and preview them before anything is published.

  • Automation

Rules that prepare tasks, drafts and reviews from what happens in your agency. Prepared work shows what it was built from and waits for a person.

  • Imports, export and restore

Import leads and carrier files with a preview first. Export your agency's complete records and documents whenever you like, or delete your workspace.

  • Help

Step-by-step help articles inside the software, searchable in ordinary words, and email support. No subscription needed.

  • Team access

Members, roles and branches. People who can only view don't see buttons that would change records.

No switching

No switching required.

Changing agency systems is a big decision, and you don't have to make it to use Cirlet. Keep your current system and use Cirlet next to it, for as much or as little as you like.

  • Try it with nothing at stake

The sample agency needs no account and uses fictional records. Your current system isn't touched.

  • Use it for part of your work

Use a free workspace for one part of your agency's work and keep everything else where it is.

  • Move records only when you choose

An import starts with a preview: what maps, what was left out and what needs your decision.

  • Take your records with you

Export your agency's records and documents whenever you want. Your data stays yours.

Automation

Automation you can check.

Cirlet's rules can prepare work for your team: a renewal review with the right policy version attached, a draft follow-up, a list of what's still missing. Each prepared item shows what it was built from and waits for a person.

If you'd like automation shaped around how your agency works, in Cirlet or in the tools you already use, that's paid work agreed up front.

Your data

Your data stays yours.

Your agency's records belong to your agency. Here is what you can do today, and what is still being built.

Works today

  • Export your agency's complete records and documents at any time.
  • Back up to your own Google Drive with one click: a complete copy of your records, documents and history goes into a "Cirlet backups" folder in your Drive. Cirlet never sees your Google sign-in or your other files.
  • Delete your workspace.

Later

  • Cirlet on your own computer. It's built and being tested. It will be offered once it installs without security warnings and updates itself. Until then, the one-click Google Drive backup keeps a complete copy of your agency in your own Drive.

Written storage and processing terms for workspaces are still being finished. Until then, explore with the sample's fictional records and talk to me before you put real customer records in a workspace.

Connections

Connections to outside services.

These depend on carriers, vendors and accounts outside Cirlet. Here is where each one stands.

Full agency software is the goal. Cirlet is being built to handle all of an independent agency's daily work. Some of it is still in progress, and this page says which. If something you rely on isn't here, tell me.

Free agency software. Open it and try it.
